Zed TV’s ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2023’ concluded with a grand finale on Sunday, November 26, three months after it debuted. The music TV reality show’s winner, West Bengali native Albert Kabo Lepcha, was declared. Viewers have followed the judges, Himesh Reshammiya, Anu Malik, and Neeti Mohan, as they mentored aspiring singing sensations on the show throughout the season. As the host of the show, Aditya Naryan kept everyone entertained in the interim.

At ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2023’s’ grand finale, Albert Kabo Lepcha was declared the winner. He performed admirably the entire season and was well-liked by both the judges and the audience. At the grand finale, Albert was given the trophy. Conversely, Nishtha Sharma and Ranita Banerjee, the finalists, were declared the first and second runners-up, respectively.
Albert declared in a statement following his victory, “This is a dream come true for me! To be honest, the competition was fierce because every competitor this season was exceptionally gifted, and I am truly appreciative that I had the opportunity to perform alongside them. My voyage on I want to thank all of my mentors and judges who have continuously encouraged me and helped me reach my singing potential.
The show has been a fantastic learning experience for me. I even had the opportunity to record and release my own song, which was composed by the legendary Vivek Kar, and I got a tonne of support for it. I’m definitely bringing a lot of memories with me, and I’m excited for my upcoming singing adventure. I want to express my gratitude to everyone for contributing to this wonderful experience.
ALBERT KABO: WHO IS HE?
Albert, who was born in West Bengal’s Kalimpong, now resides in Kolkata with his spouse. Before appearing on “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa,” this 27-year-old performed live, performing five to seven times a month. He also formed his own band, “Kabo N Company,” a few months ago, and performs both with the group and occasionally alone.
Albert started singing in church choirs and at school functions.. He never received formal music training. In 2015, Albert tied the knot. A short while later, he moved to Bangalore to work as a chef. After his grandfather passed away, he went back to his hometown and started doing pub gigs.. One year prior to taking part in the SRGMP regional show, he travelled to Kolkata with his spouse to work as a tour guide.
DURING THE GRAND FINALE, WHAT HAPPENED?
The grand finale featured some truly amazing and moving performances, making it nothing short of an entertainment extravaganza. The show’s top five finalists, Sonia Gazmer, Sneha Bhattacharya, Nishtha Sharma, Albert Kabo Lepcha, and Ranita Banerjee, opened the final episode with an electrifying performance. The judges were joined by Govinda, his spouse Sunita Ahuja, and veteran actress Aruna Irani, making the episode twice as entertaining. Aditya Narayan and Haarsh Limbachiyaa co-hosted the episode.
The audience saw Govinda in his element as he and the judge, Neeti Mohan, danced to the song “Oo Haseena Zulfowaali.” Additionally, he and Aruna Irani’s performance of “Chadti Jawaani” lit the stage on fire. Additionally, Govinda performed “Sathiya Nahi Jana Ke Jee Na Lage” for Sunita, his wife.

Neeti Mohan declared, “I think this season’s top 5 are all winners, but there can only be one winner.”There’s no denying that Albert deserves to win. I think he is a really talented singer who has the potential to succeed in the business because I have loved and enjoyed all of his performances this season.
